Everything my family and I needed was available and more; we had basic necessities for the bathroom like towels, shampoo, and soap, as well as beach items like towels, chairs and umbrellas. It was also great having appliances to make cooking easier (ex. stove, smoothie blender, coffee maker, etc.). My favourite feature throughout my stay was having the cleaner keep the place spotless multiple days!
Finally, the location is great! The home is safely gated and protected by security guards; the pool is a few steps away with a shallow end (great for kids) and deeper end with pool toys and floating devices. The beach is a few steps further down from the pool and is clean, not busy, and has just the right amount of vendors (ex massage, beach bar). You can easily walk 10 minutes to the city center / main beach or use a golf cart and it will take half the time. Overall, there were so many great restaurants just outside the gates (ex. seafood at El Jackal, breakfast at Northside Cafe, and ice cream tacos at Rollado).
The exterior "living space" consisting of kitchen and "living room" is open air - open to sides and neighbours sight and sound. If you are comfortable with this level of exposure - you will love it. If you are surrounded by drunken yahoos - it will be onerous. Sadly the latter was our plight!
The property is beautifully located. A short 40 second walk down the inner road and you are at the beach. Preceded by a handsome pool, garden with nice chaises. Amazing! Property manager Eric, his assistant Ben and the lovely maid Laura are the very best. Hard-working, responsive and caring. We could not have been more pleased with them.
Do note the following: Sayulita may have been a sleepy charming town once upon a time. Sadly no longer. Over the Xmas/Ano Nuevo period it is chock full of visitors both local and foreign. The beaches are jammed, the streets clogged. If you seek tranquil - this is not your town. If you seek action, lively, drinking and partying...this is your place.
