Description

The Pōno Suite in Sayulita is a close to downtown, private first level suite on Sayulita's south side. The recently updated Pōno Suite is the perfect place for a couple enjoying Sayulita who want to be close to everything but at the same time appreciate being able to easily step away from the action when it is time.

Originally designed for friends and family visiting us for longer periods, the 600+ square foot Pōno Suite functions less like a vacation rental and more like a spacious one bedroom home with all the amenities that you would expect for an extended stay. Ten foot ceilings and transom windows ensure that the space feels open and has plenty of natural light. The fully air conditioned suite offers offers a large, comfortable bedroom space with a king size bed, high quality linens and plenty of room for clothing and personal items. A well equipped kitchen with a four burner stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave and breakfast bar makes food preparation and dining at home easy. The adjoining living room area is large enough to accommodate small gatherings and there is additional room and outdoor seating through the sliding glass door on to the covered terrace. A dedicated laptop workspace location with fiber optic internet keeps you connected to the world outside Sayulita if you need to be. We feel it is the perfect place to stay for a couple or solo traveler.

We are a non-smoking, non-vaping property.

What is Pōno? Pōno is a Hawaiian term that we chose to adopt as the name of our family casa. If a person is "living Pōno", it means they have struck the right balance in their relationships with other things, places and people in their lives. That they are living with a continuous conscious decision to do right by themselves, by others, and by the world in general.

Deposits & Refunds:

All reservations require a deposit of 50% in order to hold the reservation. The balance of the rental charge is due no less than 30 days prior to your arrival date to confirm the reservation.

Full refund with cancellation 30+ days before.

50% refund with cancellation 14-29 days before unless we can rebook the suite.

No refund if canceled within 14 days unless we can rebook the suite.

Casa Pono has our heart

Casa Pono has been our home for three months. The guest suite has everything you need for the perfect stay. The casa is located approximately 5 minutes walk from the main beach, 3 minutes walk to the main square, and moments away by foot from all Sayulita's best attractions. Although the place is located in town, it is on a quiet residential street where you can get a good night's sleep on an amazingly comfortable bed while the town parties the night away.
Christopher and his family are welcoming and have been quick to attend to our needs and even shared their favorite local tips! The house has great water pressure and a steaming hot shower. Internet connection is strong and reliable for performing everyday work. The suite is spacious and has a full-functioning kitchen for those who enjoy cooking.
I would recommend staying at Christopher's place in a heartbeat, we will be back!

Casa Pono was perfect!

5+/5! Beautiful modern and stylish home with lots of space and comfortable sitting area. Great wifi for working from home. Very clean and had everything we needed. Looks even better in person than on photos. Perfect location - close to eveything yet in a nice and quiet street. Me and my husband and an excellent stay. Chris is an amazing host and made sure we always had everything we needed. Highly recommend! Look no futher.

This apartment is great! In a perfect location, and all of the appliances and facilities are well maintained! The host is very responsive and helps resolve any issues you may have quickly! Bed is very comfortable, and the space has lots of natural light! No complaints.

Amazing property and amazing host

Fantastic long term stay in a great location. Modern amenities, great wifi, best shower water pressure I've ever had, and a very comfortable bed. Chris gave me everything I needed to be left alone if I wanted to but was available if I ever needed him. I would definitely stay here again.

Cannot recommend this place enough!

This place was wonderful! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It’s a 2 minute walk to downtown and 5 minutes to the beach. The bed was comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. Definitely will be staying again!

Book. This. Place. The Pono Suite was perfect for our stay in Sayulita. Super close walking distance to the plaza and the beach but just out of any late night noise. The suite was extremely clean and had everything for a week's stay - including beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. Communication was super quick and we even got local recommendations.
