Casa Mucho Gusto in Sayulita was built by Miguel Valverdes - a noted Mexican Architect - in the mid-80's. It was one of the first classic beach home compounds in Sayulita and therefore has a commanding view of the Pacific Ocean. It showcases traditional Castillian brick with rock and mortar accents throughout.

The Tropical Gardens are among the best in the region - truly a botanical wonderland. From Hibiscus and Bouganvillas to rainbow colored tea leaves and banana trees, you will feel as though you've returned to the Garden of Eden. You'll always find some type of blooming vegetation on the grounds, as our caretaker is one of the premiere gardeners in the area.

Each room has its own private balcony and Pacific Ocean view where you can spot whales spouting offshore in season or enjoy the evening sunsets that never cease to thrill with a mixture of colors worthy of a classic painting. You'll witness squadrons of Pelicans soaring serenely overhead and Magnificent Frigate Birds gracefully gliding into the sky. You will enjoy 24 hour ambient aural amusement with the soft soothing whooshing sounds of waves caressing the beach. This hypnotic mood permeates your entire stay and brings a peaceful sense of tranquillity as the soundtrack to your vacation in paradise.

Casa Mucho Gusto in Sayulita is at the quiet northern end of the beach so you will be able to enjoy your escape in peace. You can walk a long ways in either direction searching for sea shells without being disturbed.

Stars at night provide a canopy of mystical energy untouched by streetlights or other interference. Enjoy the constellations and falling stars from a lounge by the pool or dive into the silky waters with nothing but the stars overhead for distraction.

The master bedroom at Casa Mucho Gusto in Sayulita overlooks the pool area and the Pacific Ocean. It has a king sized bed, a large private bathroom and a balcony. In addition, the master bedroom has its own private patio palapa off to the side. The second upstairs bedroom includes two double beds and its own full bathroom. The lower bedroom also mirrors this same layout with private access out to the tropical gardens. Each bedroom has double sliding glass doors for access to balcony or deck and air conditioning with a remote control. But usually the sea breezes are gentle and constant so that only the ceiling fans are used unless you visit in the full heat of summer.

Directly off of the dining area with seating for eight, you'll find the living room; including a rattan couch, two love seats, and a full sized chair. The wireless internet will give you a chance to keep in touch if you so desire. Likewise the satellite television and cable TV in the living room and master bedroom allow a choice of 400 TV channels for your entertainment. All TV's have a DVD player for you to enjoy movies.

The kitchen has a new large refrigerator and gas stove with all the necessary appliances - from microwave to toaster oven, coffee maker, etc. You can make your own dinners or ask our maid to come prepare your evening meal. She can arrange a traditional Mexican feast or a Seafood delight to save time and money when you return from a tough day of relaxation.

Down by the Seaside, you can sprawl around our common grounds including the pool palapa area with several tables and chairs. The palapa also includes a small bar area as well as a bathroom. This area, as well as the pool, is shared by the three homes in the complex. However one of the great joys in sharing the pool-palapa area is the chance to meet new friends from around the world. Many are the times guests have met lifelong friends or been invited to Canada, Colorado or Italy, etc.
