Casa La Piedra in Sayulita is an eco-inspired jungle retreat, lovingly built over several years with careful attention to detail. Filled with fresh air, natural light, and an open flow that blends traditional hacienda style with colorful Talavera tile and modern comforts, this home is designed for deep relaxation and connection to nature. Surrounded by birdsong and lush greenery, it offers complete tranquility while still being just an 18-minute walk to town and the beach.

Stairways lead up to the front of the house, where you’ll be greeted by vibrant flowers and ocean views from the patios, balcony, and even the kitchen when the doors are open. Indoors, the main kitchen is fully equipped for cooks who love to be inspired: a 6-burner gas range with griddle, double ovens, oversized fridge and freezer, and a spacious sink. The open-concept living room connects seamlessly with the kitchen and the sitting balcony, creating the perfect perch for watching birds glide through the treetops.

Out back, an expansive stone BBQ area invites you to slow down and savor wood-fire cooking. A smoker, utility sink, and outdoor fireplace make this a dream space for gathering, grilling, and enjoying warm Sayulita evenings.

Casa La Piedra features two bedrooms—a king in the master and a full/matrimonial in the guest room—each outfitted with high-end mattresses and fine linens. Comfortable indoor and outdoor living spaces include a leather couch with reclining chairs, a sitting sofa, and a patio table overlooking the ocean.

Please note that the home does not have a formal dining room. Instead, it was intentionally designed around light, airflow, and connection with the surrounding jungle. Every balcony and patio offers a thoughtful mix of sun and shade throughout the day, along with a refreshing breeze that moves naturally through the home. Sunsets from the front patio are stunning, and watching the moon rise over the jungle is a nightly gift.
