Description
Dekker Wedding Photography in Sayulita is ideal for non-traditional clients with a great sense of style. I approach each job with the goal of capturing the unique feel and personality of each client.
I have been privileged to travel around the world photographing different families and events, creating images in an original, artistic, and natural way. After opening a studio in San Francisco in 2005 I opened a second location in Sayulita in 2012, and have loved being able to shoot at so many beautiful spots all around Mexico. I live in Sayulita full time but am available for travel all over the world, and have a special connection to the Bay Area where my first location was.
I strive to create images that capture the beauty of this area, that are timeless, creative, and of course, fun! Whether it's destination wedding images, lifestyle family portraits, or fun and sexy boudoir, my original photographic approach will create heirlooms that will become a part of you and your family's history.

Great wedding photography experience
We had a great experience with Beth as our wedding photographer in Sayulita! She was communicative and organized in the lead up to the wedding. She also gave us great recommendations for other vendors for the wedding and activities for our trip.

Breathtaking Engagement Photos
Beth took our engagement photos while we were in Puerto Vallarta at the end of January. She was great to work with and her creativity showed in the final product. Beth also made us feel very comfortable and it felt like we knew each other for years! Highly recommend!

Professional, on time, creative and all in all lots of fun!!!
Our wedding pics areamazing! Very unique - we are so happy with all of them. We had an anniversary shoot one year after our wedding shoot in Sayulita. Beth was great - we are so happy with all of our pictures. We also hired her for a pregnancy shoot in July and are excited to see those. Beth was professional, on time, creative and all in all lots of fun to work with. We already hired her again for our newborn pics :)

Boudoir shoot
I was recently part of a boudoir shoot with Beth from Dekker Photography.
To do something like this is completely out of my comfort zone, but with Beth’s professionalism and guidance, the shoot was far less nerve racking and actually a lot of fun.
You are certainly never to old to do anything like this and I feel extremely proud to be entering my 52nd year with these amazing photos.
I would highly recommend Beth to anyone who is looking to do a boudoir shoot, either by yourself or with friends, it’s truly a great experience.
Thanks Beth for making me feel like a rockstar for a day.

I can't praiser her enough!
I can't thank Beth enough for all her help making our wedding day absolutely magical! She not only played the role of wedding planner, I now consider her a dear friend. We went to Sayulita Mexico on vacation, when my then boyfriend proposed and followed it up with another proposal, "would you want to get married down here in a few days?". He knew me pretty well because I said yes to both! He had an officiant and photographer lined up on stand by. We then met up with Beth the next night and through the next couple days Beth helped me find my dress, jewelry, flowers, lined up my hair and nails. She not only played the role of wedding planner, she also did an amazing job on our photos! We then had her do our photos up near San Francisco at our party we through for friends and family. She is so talented and is an all around amazing person! I can’t praise Beth enough!

Phenomenal Boudoir Shoot Experience!
I recently hired Beth for a boudoir shoot with a bunch of girlfriends in Sayulita and cannot say enough good things about the experience. Beth blew me away! She made the shoot so much FUN that the photos almost didn't matter - until I saw them....AMAZING!!! She truly knew the right styles, backgrounds, light, and mood to capture us each at our best. We felt like supermodels for the day. The experience was truly phenomenal, I highly recommend her!

AMAZING & KNOWS WHAT SHE'S DOING!
I had a boudoir shoot with Beth last week, and first off.... let me just say BETH is AMAZING and knows what she's doing! I went in super nervous, not knowing what to expect because I have never done anything like this at all so I was completely out of my comfort zone. Beth was kind enough to offer me wine or beer to calm my nerves, she told me to lay out all my stuff and she helped pick the outfit order. I was happy everyone at the studio were women, which made it more comfortable for me since I'm nearly naked lol. Before we started, she made it clear that were there to have fun and she wouldn't put me in any uncomfortable poses, and she pretty much directed me throughout the whole shoot which I loved because I'm not good as posing myself at all lol. We had so much fun, the shoot completely flew by! She is so spunky and fun, I would definitely recommend Dekker to anyone! It was an overall REALLY great experience!

Great Wedding Photographer
Beth shot our wedding at the beach in Punta Monterrey. As an art director, I am super picky about photography and she was very open to my suggestions. She is very efficient and diligent about planning the day in order to have enough time for the 'getting ready' details. We can't thank her enough!
Beth was our wedding photographer and we cannot thank her enough! Planning a wedding is stressful, it was an incredible weight off to work with someone who makes the process so easy. For two camera shy people, it was awesome to have a laid back photographer who put us and our guests at ease. Beth knows Sayulita very well and took us to great spots around town for our photos. I was nervous about taking photos but ended up having a blast.
Beth also referred us to an officiant who we absolutely loved, and recommended a boat tour which we chartered with most of our wedding guests. Several of them remarked that it was the best day they'd ever had.
