We love our home in Sayulita and know you will too.
Sayulita holds a special place in our hearts, and we know it will for you and your family as well. This small, vibrant, Pueblo Mágico town is unlike anywhere else we have found in our travels. This local pueblo is a family and community-oriented culture with colorful streets, music, great restaurants, artisan boutiques and of course stunning beaches. Sayulita is the perfect place to unwind, connect with nature, and embrace the simple joys of life. We can’t wait for you to experience Casa Gaea and everything else that makes Sayulita so unique.
Why Casa Gaea? If you have been to Sayulita in the past, you know that being in or near the center of town can be very busy and a little loud. Casa Gaea is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom, 4000-square-foot home located in the gated, private community of Selva Maaku, approximately 5 minutes golf cart drive from the main square in Sayulita. This distance is just far enough away to provide quiet solitude, away from the hustle and noise of the town, but close enough to still feel connected to the infectious energy of Sayulita and in a pinch, you could walk it in 15 minutes.
Casa Gaea is a modern home, with many modern amenities, which is in contrast to most rentals in Sayulita, which are very traditional in design and comfort.
This is our family's second home and was created and curated with health and wellness in mind for our family and for yours. Some healthy hightlights of our home include; filtered well water throughout the entire home that removes impurities but leaves in all the healthy minerals making the water safe to drink from anywhere in the home (it makes for an incredible shower experience too). We use only non-toxic and natural cleaning products as well as laundry detergents. Our linens and towels are all 100% organic cotton or bamboo. Our mattresses are all 100% natural rubber, mold resistant and organic cotton and the pillows are either natural rubber or 100% bamboo. All the furniture and carpets in the home are made from natural woods and fibers sourced ethically in Mexico and finished with natural non-toxic oils. We provide organic extra virgin olive oil and organic coconut oil for cooking along with organic fresh ground pepper, cooking, and finishing salts. Unlike many homes in Sayulita, Casa Gaea, is a modern home, with modern plumbing meaning you can flush your toilet paper (something we take for granted in most places but a luxury in Mexico). As we are on a private well water system (not connected to city water) you will never have shortages or run out of water. Hot water on demand along with solar panels also ensure consistent hot water.
Our vacation rental has central Air Conditioning in the main living space as well as each bedroom. WiFi is provided by Starlink with boosters available in all the bedrooms. There is a SONOS wireless sound system in the main living space along with a Samsung Frame Smart TV with all available streaming apps.
Each bathroom is supplied with organic, locally made hand and body soaps, shampoo and conditioner; bath towels, hand towels and ample facecloths. Beach and pool towels along with beach baskets and beach blankets are also supplied.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to stay in and cook, along with place settings for up to eight guests. We also provide good-quality kitchen knives, wood cutting board, french press coffee pot, grinder and tea kettle.
For your day at the beach, the house is equipped with two portable chairs and two beach umbrellas. There is also a beach cart and a paddle board and paddle you are welcome to use.
In additional, we have two, four-person, golf carts also available for rent separately. Please inquire if interested.

Selva Maaku property also has a community pool located across the street from our house with lounge chairs and umbrellas that are open for any guests to use at anytime.

All prices are in USD per night
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure the reservation, and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival. Please note that these payments are non-refundable. However, should you need to cancel for any reason I will attempt to re-rent the house. In the case that the house is re-rented, your payment will be refunded minus any fees.
The gardens and pool by the house are beautiful and very private. I especially appreciated the filtered water, no relying on bottles.
The house is just a short golf cart trip from the vibrant town and its beautiful beaches.
I plan on returning to this beautiful oasis, it is truly a home away from home.
