Casa Buena Vista has breathtaking views of the ocean from most of the outdoor spaces. This home is a non-smoking.
The 2024 renovation included updating the dining room, living room and entertainment area with larger windows and folding glass doors to the palapa terrace and a new outside eating area under the palapa. The new doors will allow full opening of the dining room, living room and entertainment area to the outside palapa terrace. Also, there is new furniture in the living room area, entertainment area and outdoor dining area.
The work also included renovation of the 2-bedroom Casita which includes a living room, kitchen and full bathroom on the first floor with access to a deck overlooking the pool area. On the 2nd floor there is a main bedroom with king bed, a 2nd bedroom with bunk bed (queen and twin) and a full bathroom. The bedrooms both open to a terrace overlooking the pool area.
The pool area includes a new pool bar, barbeque, refrigerator, icemaker, dining table, as well as a fire pit and expanded seating areas.
Casa Buena Vista is a 5 bedroom - 5 ½ bath home that sleeps a maximum of 12 guests comfortably in 7 beds (2 Kings, 3 Queens and 1 bunk bed (1 queen and 1 single). The home is a traditional Mexican style home with modern comforts. You are close enough to town and the beach that we suggest walking. However, should you choose to opt for a car or golf cart, there is off street parking for up to 2 cars and/or golf carts.
Groups of 9 to 12 will have access to the Main House and the Casita. Groups of 8 or less will have access to only the Main House, unless they pay the rate for groups of 9 or more.
Total occupancy is a maximum of 12 people in 5 bedrooms as follows:
Main House:
Bedroom 1 – 4 people in two queen beds
Bedroom 2 – 2 people in 1 queen bed
Bedroom 3 – 2 people in 1 king bed
Casita:
Bedroom 4 – 2 people in 1 king bed
Bedroom 5 – 2 people in the bunk bed
The rates for 8 or less guests using just the main house are about 20% less than the listed rates for up to 12 guests. If your group is 8 or less people and you do not need access to the Casita, please make a reservation inquiry and will respond with the adjusted rates. This listing will compute the rates for the combination of the house and casita.
BEDROOMS: On the first level of the home there are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
The first bedroom (bedroom 1) has 2 queen beds, and an attached bathroom that can also be accessed from the outside pool area. This room is great for kids or anyone who does not mind sharing a bedroom.
The second bedroom (bedroom 2), also on the first floor has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Outside this bedroom is a sitting area, with hammock, that overlooks the pool
The master suite (bedroom 3) is located on the second level and has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom, including a soaking tub. The master suite has an amazing balcony/sitting area which has stunning views of the ocean and the town - - a perfect place to sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening margarita or glass of wine.
All of the bedrooms have individual air conditioning units and ceiling fans.
In the Casita both bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.
Bedroom 4 - the main bedroom, has a king size bed with a ceiling fan, air conditioning and access to an outside patio that is shared with Bedroom 5.
Bedroom 5 has a bunk bed with a twin on top and queen on the bottom. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and air conditioning along with access to the outside patio shared with Bedroom 4.
There is one full bathroom on the 2nd floor and another full bathroom on the first floor along with a living area and small kitchen. The Casita has an outdoor patio with a dining table on the first level overlooking the pool.
LIVING SPACES: Casa Buena Vista has both incredible outdoor and indoor living spaces. Outdoors, there are five different patio/sitting areas with amazing views.
1 - On the first level, by the infinity pool, there is an outdoor bar area (sink, ice maker, refrigerator, and barbecue), seating and fire pit area and an outdoor shower. The infinity pool has built in lounge chairs in the pool.
2 - Outside bedroom 2 there is a lounge area with hammock.
3 - Outside the Casita living area on the 1st floor, there is an outdoor dining area overlooking the pool area.
4 - On the Casita 2nd level there is palapa covered patio outside the 2 bedrooms overlooking the pool.
5 - On the second level of the main house, the outdoor palapa covered terrace space runs the entire length of the main house, with spectacular views. This area includes an outdoor dining table and gathering area.
Indoors, the kitchen/dining/living/entertainment area all flow together, providing plenty of space for you to spread out and enjoy. This area is also air conditioned and has four ceiling fans. The dining/living/entertainment area has 4 sets of folding doors that allow you to open the space to the palapa covered terrace. There is a guest bath on this level.
The kitchen is well appointed with all the appliances and kitchen gadgets you would need to prepare a delicious meal during your stay. Should you choose, our staff can arrange for a local chef to come in and prepare an authentic Mexican meal for you and your group, at an additional charge.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in is 4 pm to 8 pm. If you need late check in, we can accommodate that but there will be an additional $30 fee. Check-out is 11:00 am. Late check-out may be possible but will not be available on days when there is a check-in on that same day. Luggage storage is available on your check out day.
HOUSEKEEPING: Housekeeping will be performed every other day (except Sunday). If you arrive on Monday, housekeeping will be performed on Wednesday, Friday, etc. Housekeeping includes linen changes, towel changes, light cleaning and trash removal. Additional housekeeping services can be coordinated with the property manager for a separate charge. We do not permit household linens or towels (including pool towels) to be taken off the Property to the beach or other adventures. You will be assessed a charge for lost or damaged linens and towels.
STAFF: Our staff includes Martin (property manager), Yolanda (housekeeper), and Martin (pool service twice per week and gardener three times per week). They have access and will be on the Property to complete their jobs. You may not restrict their access.
Our manager, Martin, is available 9am to 7pm every day, but of course if there is an emergency, you can contact him.
OCCUPANCY: The maximum number of people, including children that can stay on the property is 12. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are entertaining, with written Owner approval, you can have up to 6 additional guests, but they are not allowed to stay overnight.
No children (including infants & toddlers) under the age of 2 unless an additional liability waiver is signed. Occupancy by more than the number of guests in your reservation or by children under the age of 2 will incur a US $100 per guest, per day charge.
HOUSE RULES and SUGGESTIONS: There will be a notebook in the home that provides additional information and house rules along with local information which will include restaurants, tours and things to do. Martin is also available to help you arrange adventures and services for your stay.

Low Season 2025 (generally May 1 to October 30): US $560 per night for the Main House only, and $675 per night for the Main House & Casita
Early Mid Season 2025 (generally January 2 to February 28): US $630 per night for the Main House only, and $750 per night for the Main House & Casita.
Late Mid Season 2025 (generally November 3 to December 15): US $600 per night for the Main House only, and $720 per night for the Main House & Casita.
High Season 2025 (generally March 1 to April 30): US $ 630 per night for the Main House only, and $750 per night for the Main House & Casita.
Holidays (minimum of 6 nights) for 2025: US $750 per night for the Main House only, and $850 per night for the Main House & Casita.
Holidays include US Presidents week, US Spring Break (mid March), week before and after Easter, Dia de Muertos (5 days ending November 3), US Thanksgiving (week including 3rd Thursday of November), Christmas / New Years (about December 16 to January 4).
$750 refundable security deposit.
50% required for confirmation of reservation if more than 30 days before arrival. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival require 100% payment, including refundable security deposit.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. No refund for cancellation made in the last 30 days before arrival.
If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.
No refund for cancellations made in the last 14 days before arrival.
PAYMENT METHODS Zelle - transfer (preferred); Venmo - transfer; PayPal - friends and family transfer. ALL reservations will require copy of government ID with photo and home address to verify identity. In addition, a brief written contract is provided that details dates, prices, refundable security deposit, taxes, house rules and cancelation policies. Your reservation will not be complete until a signed copy of the contract has been received by the owners. FOUR NIGHT MINIMUM REQUIREMENT. LAST MINUTE BOOKING DISCOUNT WITHIN 15 DAYS OF ARRIVAL DATE: 15% DISCOUNT (6 nights min) Please inquiry about bookings for more than 14 days.
